It doesn’t matter who you are, cancer has touched our lives in one way or another. The American Cancer Society works every day to provide assistance to those suffering from the effects of Cancer, and further advance Cancer research. As such, the team at Independent Insurance Associates is proud to be a sponsor of this years Relay For Life in Lancaster County.
What Is The Relay For Life?
The Relay For Life is a 24 hour event held annually all over the world in which more than 4 million people participate to raise money and awareness to help save lives and fight cancer. Participants are sponsored by local business, organizations, and private citizens with all proceeds going to the American Cancer Society.

The Relay For Life Serves 3 Purposes
Celebrate Life & Survival – During a Relay event, participants and survivors celebrate what they’ve overcome during the Survivors Lap.
Remember & Honor Cancer Patients – During the Luminaria Ceremony, we remember people lost to cancer, and honor people who have fought or are fighting cancer.
Fight Back Against Cancer – The Fight Back Ceremony inspires Relay participants to take tangible action against a disease that has taken too much.
